My head is still spinning. Hidden Traps is OUT!

It’s been two weeks since my nonfiction book Hidden Traps was released, but I haven’t had a chance to breathe. The lead up to release was filled with preparation of supplementary materials and handouts, guest blog posts, and interviews for radio and video broadcasts. On release day, I ran my first webinar. This weekend, I’m presenting at the RWNZ conference on this topic.

What have I done? (Cover reveal)

I'm sitting here, not really knowing how to feel: excited, nervous, giddy, panicked.

For the past few months, I've been working hard on writing a book on the pitfalls of building an online platform. Everything is coming together.

There is still some editing to do... But release day is only three months away.

Books could almost be immortal

I have seen many debates over that last few years about whether the introduction of the eBook has killed the publishing industry. Many have asked whether books are a thing of the past. It’s a valid question, but this is not the first time the question has been asked.

Think about all the old doomsday stories. In many of them, society has been left to flounder, and the knowledge of the past is frequently lost. Reading becomes a lost skill or something that only a select few know.
