I did a trial session a year ago... and felt out o I did a trial session a year ago... and felt out of place because of my age. But 8 weeks ago, I decided to give #poleDancing a go again, telling myself that any concerns about my age were a "me" problem... and to just get over it. I signed up for an 8-week program, knowing that if after 8 weeks I decide that it really isn't for me, then I gave it a good go. 4 weeks in, and I knew I would carry on. (I've now signed up for a year.) After 7 weeks of training with @altitudepoleredwood, I feel stronger, more flexible...and more mobility. (And the proof is in the photos, with the starting point on the left and the current situation on the right). I have a long way to go, but I know that because of my age, I NEED to do this. #FeelingGood
I had a photoshoot yesterday, and my daughter did I had a photoshoot yesterday, and my daughter did my hair for me. I keep forgetting how curly my hair really is. Now to wait to see how the photos turned out. #feelingPretty
