What have I done? (Cover reveal)

I'm sitting here, not really knowing how to feel: excited, nervous, giddy, panicked.

For the past few months, I've been working hard on writing a book on the pitfalls of building an online platform. Everything is coming together.

There is still some editing to do... But release day is only three months away.

Changes are afoot…

Some of my followers will already know that I have recently moved my email list to MailChimp, moving away from the WordPress engine for this particular feature. At the time I made the move, I had left certain WordPress features active, so my followers who had subscribed via their WordPress accounts could still get notification of my posts. However, recent changes to JetPack (the plugin that controls the WordPress subscription features) has meant that JetPack is now interfering with MailChimp.

But which is the better franchise: Star Trek or Star Wars?

Step back folks because the lid on that can of worms is about to spring off for a special LIVE 2-hr episode of Conversations in Science. But I won't be the only one... Nearly half of the other hosts from the KLRN Radio have to decided that this is one topic that must be explored from all angles.

NaNoWriMo Chat Room: Unofficial, but International…

Not every writer is able to attend a write-in. Sometimes the weather is against you. Sometimes family life takes over and writing during the day is just not possible. Or maybe you’re extremely shy and don’t feel comfortable around people you don’t know. Well…

nanowrimo_2016_webbanner_participantThe Municipal Liaisons from different regions around the world have come together to create the perfect on-line chat for those participating in this year’s NaNoWriMo.

Jessie Sanders, radio talk show host on KLRN Radio, has graciously offered to host a special chat room for NaNoWriMo participants on her website. While Jessie is not a writer herself, she does know how isolating writing can be. She wants to help support writers. She does this through her radio show, Jessie’s Coffee Shop, and through the chat room.Read More
